CENTER OF MY UNDERWORLD - WEEKLY UPDATE #29 - HELLO SUMMERTIME!

 I live again!

Lol, hey everyone. I apologize for the lack of content lately, as life has kept me very busy. 

I wish I could say the reason for my absence was something more interesting, and movie worthy. But...it's not...

I've just been away dealing with stuff in real life. 

No worries though! Plenty of work has been put into the game these last few months when I've been away. 

Lot's of new character sprites have been worked on, and lots of editing for the games story routes are currently in the works. 

I am most elated to inform you that work for this visual novel is going well. No hiccups for once. 

I'm am dedicating an entire month starting next week to putting the final touches on Mindy's route. 

What does this mean, you say? Well, it just means the core of her story route is completed. 

A relief, to say the very least. Her route has been A LOT of work these last few months, it's finally good to see things in a some what completed capacity with her.

Finishing this novel is still nowhere in site, but I confidant with some more work, and some more elbow grease, this game will hit it's intended marks. 

Aside from Mindy, I put a lot of work into Butterbean's and Mandy's route last month in the month of May. 

I'm not going to spoil anything, but the latest things added to their stories have me and others very excited.

A lot of this is still very surreal to me. Seeing the words I've written come to life on the game screen. 

It was something I always pushed to the back of my mind when I first started this project in 2017. 

"No way" I thought. No way would I ever make it this far with this project. And yet, here I am...

I am very disappointed with some things though. Mainly interface stuff for the game I promised I'd resolve months ago. 

The menu, and games text font still need a lot of work. My play testers constantly complain about it. 

Play testers...if you're reading this right now...let me just relay this to you guys/gals...

...Anyway...I do hope you are all having a good and fun summer so far.

We were just in January, and now POOF it's summer...

Summer is always good for me, as it gives me some more down time to work on this game. 

Sorry, My Time at Portia. As much as I love playing you, Center of My Underworld needs my full attention right now. :(

I promise you guys/gals, I'll do a few extra blog posts this summer to make up for lost time on here.

Even if I have nothing to say regarding the games development, maybe I can upload an extra screen shot or two. 

The game is going to be pretty lengthy, so don't judge the VN by the few paragraphs you "read" on this blog from time to time.
