CENTER OF MY UNDERWORLD - WEEKLY UPDATE #24 - HOLIDAYS ARE COMING!

Hey everyone, James here!

What time is it? It's update time!

This week was pretty good for the game productivity wise. A decent chunk of work was put into the game.

As you can see from this weeks update/blog photo, that yes, Pandora is indeed in the game/vn.

I've stated this fact in other blog posts of mine, but this is the first post where you, the reader, actually gets to have a look at her.

She plays a big part in the games story, and is a joy to write scenes for. She even had her very own story route early in the games development! :0

Her route ultimately had to be cut due to time constraints.

Her route/story is almost complete on paper though. If by some miracle I actually get Center of My Underworld finished late next year, or sometime in 2022, maybe I'll release her (Pandora's) route as a stand alone download.

In other news, Mindy's route had a lot of work done on it this last week. Mostly writing, touch ups, and programming.

Mandy's route also had some work put in for it. I was having some issues with character placement in her route for certain scenes. It's all fixed now though.

Butterbean's route will have to wait for January of next year. I don't have any spare time for it at the moment. :(

Next year... Wow, has it been a whole year already? Where does the time go!?

I mean, I'm glad 2020 is finally ending as much as the next person, but still...

One last thing before I end this update. I still desperately need a custom text/dialogue box done for the game.

It's actually at the top of my to do list for next year. Hopefully I can have one done/commissioned for the VN before March of next year.

Same goes with the font for the games text. That also needs to be reworked. Oh well, all in good time I suppose. It's just... one does tend to get sick of looking at such a bare bones interface for the game.
