CENTER OF MY UNDERWORLD - WEEKLY UPDATE #22 - HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

Hey everyone, James here!

Just stopping by for a quick update to clue you guys/gals in on what's been going on lately.

I've been busy all month with writing and programming.

I'd say it been a 60/40 type of deal.

Sixty percent writing, and forty percent programming.

What can I say? Mindy's route needs a lot of attention given to it right now. So writing has to be pushed front and center in order for this VN not to fall behind schedule. (Which it has numerous times over the course of this year BTW)

As always, I'd personally like to thank Iminkblot (Artist) and Kata (editor) for all the hard work they've done on this project for the month of October.

It's been a rough year for most, and the fact that they still put time aside to pour love into this game warms my heart. You two kick ass. I hope you both know that.

Man, I can't believe it's almost Halloween again. Seems like just yesterday I was updating this blog for it's first Halloween (2019) and now here I am again updating this blog for another one (2020).

Time flies when the world is on fire I guess. Heh...

Remember to lock your doors and turn off your lights the night of 31st! Protect your candy stash's at all costs!

I want to apologize to team Mandy and team Butterbean again. No progress/work has been added to those sections of the game.

As I stated previously, Mindy's route has been a tremendous amount of work. So much so I almost considered putting the project on hold for a month due to all the stress it's been causing me.

Don't get me wrong, the work is finally starting to pay off, but the work still left ahead of me has me wanting to run for the hills lol.

I was taking a peak at the first draft for Mandy's route the other day. It currently stands at a whopping TWO-THOUSAND pages. TWO-THOUSAND PAGES... I'm already dreading the day Kata and I will have to go through all of that.

The good news is, I did some re-writes and and little bit of editing for Mandy's story back in June of this year. It needs work to say the least, but it's definitely nothing a little tender love and care can't/won't fix.

Just talking about her route has me excited now. I absolutely love the adventures those two (Jr, Mandy) embark upon. I'll have to set some time aside for her route this next month. (November)

I've been working non stop on Mindy's route since August and I think it's best I break off/away for a small break. I hit most of my goals I set for her route this year, so it shouldn't be too big of a problem.
